Why? If I have no clue what this man is talking about 90% of the time, do I find these videos so mesmerising.

That's Keeper! That's the first time I've heard a Gibson GA20T and loved that tone as a blues man.

I haven't setup another amp bench since I had a house fire back in 2013 or 16 yrs now. My losses were so great. My hearts not been in it since.

But after hearing some stuff on your channel. I'm going to have to unpack all my stuff that came out of my amp room. I don't even remember what projects I was working on at the time. But none of its was burned up.

And after down loading the GA20T schematic. It's a simple build. And I'm sure I've got all the componets to build a clone. Which I've got to do after hearing that lush tremolo circuit.

Thanks Brian

    I have a ‘53 GA-30. There’s a lot of rock in that amp.

I bought a 1965 Gibson RVT 20 Minuteman all tube amp at the Swap meet for $10. I at first passed it up and then went back and bought. It needed a transformer which was replaced with other components, and it worked very well for a long time. It was an Awesome amp. I got a 1966 Fender Super Reverb that the owner cut the amplifier out of the cabinet and put a bottom on for $150 at the Swap meet. I replaced a bad potentiometer and put the amplifier in a Twin Reverb cabinet that a Guitar Teacher gave me and I put 2 -12" speakers in the cabinet and it also works Great. I also purchased a 1972 complete original Fender Twin Reverb amp for $350 from someone that I knew.

Its crazy with the tube amps available at the time, it took another decade for music to catch up and actually utilize said amps to their full potential.

Thanks Brad for another awesome viddy.., my Dad was a steel guitar player after he returned from Korea & that put him in a gear handling & repair capacity for the tours he did back in the mid to late 50’s. As a little kid people would call him & come over & bring instruments and gear & in the garage/shop us kids were forbidden without an adult present,( got my butt whupped a few times for that).., seeing those amps I can almost smell my Dad’s garage.., thanks again for the content that always seems to be the rabbit hole that leads to memory lane for me.., maybe it’s the hats.,, my dad was balding early & wore hats daily.., good times! Keep doing whatchu do!
