  Attack speed reduces cooldown on Q’s not W. Also for anyone who hasn’t heard this yet, ability haste does affect Bel’Veth’s Q by way of reducing cooldown between Q casts. In other words, the more ability haste you have, the more Q’s per minute you can use.

  Shyvana’s passive is only a bit better now. She used to get max 25ish armor &amp; MR. Now I usually hover around 30-50 armor and MR. Doesn’t feel like much, but I’ll certainly take it.

  Tbh, I&apos;ve mained Shyvana for a few years now. <br>Pre-rework, I played her like she didn&apos;t have a passive back then and took objectives as they made sense to take so as to not put myself out of position.<br><br>Post-rework, I play her like she doesn&apos;t have a passive because I just need the farm, items, jungle bosses, etc. to feel like I&apos;m keeping up anyways. Doesn&apos;t change my decision-making, doesn&apos;t change how I have to play her to be successful. Maybe it&apos;ll keep me alive for one extra Q in a late-game teamfight before I get held down by the enemy support and nuked by their team; but they nerfed her defenses to account for the infinite scaling anyways so half of my stacks just go to reaching equity with old Shyvana.

  Back then it was like &quot;Hey Thresh has no natural Armor gain to balance out his passive Armor gain&quot; and now we have Senna gaining range and damage, Bel&apos;Veth going up to 4 AS easily, and Smolder just existing

  So theres a few more factors that go into it i think: How the stacks are acquired, how fast you can stack and how much the champ needs the stacks. For Kindred its hard to obtain more than 7 stacks consistently, their stacks are really strong, but they need 4 of them to actually be a champion. Since they&apos;re so reliant on their stacks, they&apos;re also easy to shut down, once behind. Smolder needs his stacks too, but can get them by sidelaning alone. Since smolder has defined breakpoints, it doesnt matter as much if hes behind or not. Shyvanas passive is easy to stack, quick to stack, but they do next to nothing. In the best case Shyv has a free chain vest.
