  About the 3D effect, this is exactly how the 3DS does it. Basically the idea is that instead of ridges, it used polarised light for the effect<br><br>Edit: i said &quot;instead of&quot; but really, polarised light is just light that goes through several really tiny ridges

  fun fact: you can use the cross-eye view to easily complete these &quot;find the X differences&quot; games.<br><br>that way, you can even find a single missing star in a photo of the night sky
