  I have Medicare and it is useless as I  still cannot afford to go to doctor. With copays ect. Thank you for the information.

  Virginia started paying the Medicare premium in 2024, I believe.  They started paying in August 2024, retroactive to April 2024.  Virginia is still paying as far as I know.

  I don't think this was a mistake, it was all by design.  They never wanted us to know, until now.  Congratulations, to the winners who understand.  Make the call to Medicare and tell them you want to be screened for EVERYTHING, "ALL" that you qualify for. Call your state "assistance office".  Don't wait!

  I looked  into it & they told  me I couldn't get it because I have the MAPP program I pay for every month. My income  is very low. After they take out for Medicare, it Is only 14something a month. But I was told I don't qualify. Single. Disabled

  You made me realize how fortunate I am.  Retired military and when IRAs began on January 1, 1975 I opened an account and funded it every year.  House, car and truck are paid off.  I am by no means "rich" but if I want to go out for a meal at the local family diner I can afford it.
