Boeing 737 Max7 isn't the A220's main rival. It's the Embraer E195-E2. The A220 has better range than the E195-E2 but they're about equal as regional jets.

Overall you can say that AIrbus is a company who is run much more focused on the product, in comparison to Boeing who lost his way after the merger with Douglas.<br>It just took roundabout 10 years that those decisions showed at the surface and lead to the 737 crashes and the whole production issues across all production lines…

So explain me this part of it -- one of the manufacturers has 10.6 year backlog and the other's is 10.2. Which is the winner? The backlog of one, according to a July article, is 9216 aircraft, that of the other is 6814 aircraft. You are effectively handing out brownie points for category wins to two underachievers.

The A350 was not built to compete with the 787. The A350 you mention in the video that was originally proposed to and rejected by airlines is what became the A330neo. The A350 we have today was built to compete with the 777.
