I remember the hype for this game, supposed to be Marcus Vicks coming out party.....Miami D completely ate him up. And Tech defense couldnt get a 3rd down stop to save their lives, completely deflated that home crowd

Va Tech was always Miami's little brother who they beat up most the time.

I still remember all the Hokie hilljacks flocking to Longhorn message boards beginning around mid-October to tell us that VT was headed to the Rose Bowl to face USC instead of Texas. LOL. This was such an enormously satisfying beatdown. And the hilljacks all vanished like a little girly fart in a hurricane.

Those one-shoulder orange jerseys that a few schools wore back in those days has to be one of the dumbest uniform trends I've ever seen. I remember VT and Florida wore them the most. Miami did it too I believe. Ugliest thing I've ever seen lol!

The whole season. Every game Miami played the commentators kept bringing up Virginia tech and Marcus Vick and how great their defense was . What's crazy Miami would have beat them worse if their quarterback didn't miss so many wide open receivers and throw INT's.  I say keep your mouth shut and let your playing on the field do the talking
