  The part with your son was wonderful. One day he'll appreciate your help and words of wisdom more than you'll ever know. I lost mine to leukaemia a couple of years ago and I miss him every day.

  i cant believe how 18 months ago you knew seriously next to nothing..   Your willingness to learn and read up etc.. and show things you dont know so need help is good to see....   You have everything in your life that i would so want..  You are very lucky and a great channel.  wish i could do the same up here in Sheffield, love old stuff...

  The fuel pump is not energised until oil pressure is at a sufficient level. As you were cranking the car for the first few times, oil pressure was not high enough. There’s a sensor you can unplug to bypass this instead of jumping the relay. I would bet that if you plugged the relay back in now, after using the car for a while, it would be fine. It’s to stop the engine running if oil pressure is lost. <br><br>At least, that’s how the system works on my silver shadow. Love your enthusiasm!
