  Hey Sushi, a Hindu here! For us, Mount Kailash isn’t just a mountain; it’s the abode of Lord Shiva, the cosmic center where time, space, and energy meet. Many of the anomalies you mentioned like time distortions, energy fields, people feeling barriers; resonate with our belief that this place is beyond ordinary human access. Some even claim that the people who try to climb Mount Kailash either turn to stone, or if not the mountain changes its shape, thus preventing anyone from reaching the summit. That’s also why pilgrims circumambulate Kailash with devotion, but never climb it. This same reverence is echoed in India at Manimahesh Kailash in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Every year, thousands take part in the Manimahesh Yatra, trekking to the sacred lake at its base. Just like at Mount Kailash, the peak itself is never climbed, as it’s believed to be Lord Shiva’s eternal abode. <br> <br>The Shambhala connection is fascinating too. In our tradition, Shambhala is prophesized as the birthplace of Lord Vishnu’s final avatar, Kalki, who will appear at the end of Kali Yuga to restore balance and dharma. According to scriptures, Kali Yuga began in 3102 BCE after Lord Krishna left the Earth and will last for 432,000 years; we’re only about 5,100 years into it, with a long way to go before Kalki’s advent.   Currently visiting India right now. As a kid, I had read The Road To Shambala and was so enchanted by the idea of a place where people were very spiritually and intellectually advanced, living secretly in the Himalayas. Would love for this to be true!

  Shiva&apos;s loyal Gana, who are said to be followers comprising of Rakshas(monsters), &nbsp;Asura , Preta and bhoot(ghosts) are all said to reside there in Kailash... The description of the people inside the cave of each being different and bizzare looking, sound to match with the Hindu narrative of ShivGana.

  To approach a sacred mountain, you need to show respect by circling it first, also look into what is under Mount Shasta, California and Mount Hayes, Alaska.

  Ernest Muldashev is a renown eye surgeon and ophthalmologist. He is actually from my hometown in Russia (Ufa). We also have an eye clinic founded by him and I&apos;ve been there several times, but never met him. And my family has all of his books at home :D

  Finally something about Hinduism Sushii big brother! Mount Kailash is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage, and the abode of the God of Destruction - Lord Shiva. He settels there with his wife Goddess Parvati who takes the form of the destructive Mother Kali to save her devotees, and his 2 children - the god of war that is Lord Kartikeya and God of obstacle-removal that is Lord Ganesha. We Indians have just finished celebrating the 9 day festival honoring Lord Shiva&apos;s wife only in her form of Durga! Complicated, but that&apos;s what makes it beautiful.
