Honestly the racial hatred chart in fatal isn't that crazy if you just look at how fantasy literature normally portrays the relationship between dwarves and elves or dwarves and goblins or dwarves and other dwarves

htg, i do have a friend for DnD that, by your description, legit could have written F.A.T.A.L.

Which isn't surprising when you hear he's a med student too. Man is on Max Hating at all times.

1:12:56 I mean, this is pretty common for a lot of old school RPGs...

Paladin had some insane prereqs, peopel just played with a very different mindset than the new wave 5E-era RPGs

Similarly rolling for what happens in the story is not uncommon either for many story RPGs, like Vampire The Masquerade has Chronicles where certain events happen or do not happen based on DIce rolls, and all of PbtA is basically just based on collective improvisation, based on the results of the dice

The Wraeththu aren't quite that shallow and disgusting in the books. The RPG makes them feel more like characters from FATAL, but they're moreso characters from a yaoi soap opera.

It's still insane that this "tabletop game" actually exists. What a reaction stream!
