  The way this dude can break complicated info down is amazing! Great communicator and listen. I may not always agree with hasan but he can teach and help you make up your mind on issues

  I experienced this Sears model when I had a small garment company. I had 2 garment lines that we got into Sears as a test order. That first order sold out almost immediately, except Sears had no idea, because their systems were so bad, but that is another story. The important part is that on our second order that we were pitching to them, we had an opportunity to include a line of shoes with the clothing line, because we had a friend with a show company. We were unable to pitch a clothing line and shoe line to the same buyer or even with both buyers at the same time, because they were operating, like the video describes, as two departments operated like separate businesses. Anyways, we actually were successful in selling to both departments. The next problem came when the product was delivered. When they placed the product on the sales floor, they refused to setup displays with both the clothing items and shoes in the same display, so they could be marketed together. The garments and shoes had been designed as a complete outfits, because we had learned through experience that the target customer was looking for that. So the outfits were very visibly displayed on mannequins, for all to see. The shoes were across the store and in a corner. Once again, the clothing line sold out almost immediately, but the shoes died on the vine, because they were not displayed with the outfits they corresponded with and individually, they were hard to find in the shoe department. After that season, Sears went bankrupt and never paying us for both the shoes and clothing lines they had purchased.

  Incan Empire had some of the most advanced system of economic planning and taxation… that Chilean Program made me think of it to be honest.. serendipitous that the Chileans would try an advanced computing economic planning model haha
