  Married to a Jordanian, and I have lived in Jordan a bit. Tipping at restaurants is NOT normal, and no one should be pressuring you to tip. This is an issue where it's slowly becoming more expected because of tourists, and it's just raising the cost of living for locals, so please don't unless someone actually does something extra. Restaurants outside of tourist areas will never ask for a tip.

  My wife and I, with a guided group, spent seven days walking and camping in the Jordanian desert, and entered Petra the back way. The treasury was the last thing we saw. Our guide, Yaman, had us hold hands and close our eyes, and he led us around to the treasury, lined us up, and said "Now look!" I still get tears remembering what an emotional experience it was, done that way.

  We were there in March 2025 and no one was there. Our guide told us tourism is down in Jordan and we could see this everywhere we went. Its a great time to visit Jordan. I would like to know when he filmed this video

  I spent 2 weeks in Jordan.  There is so much to see.   Petra 2.5 days was about perfect. Did see Petra at night.  But there is so much more  there.  Plus so many miss the baptism site /jordan river.  WadI Rum is great, Amman , Jeresh , Dead Sea , there is so much to see in Jordan.

  Wow, that&apos;s lots of people. We visited in the first week of April and it was fairly empty. And yes, it is huge. We had no idea. We actually climbed to the monastery on foot It was an amazing experience. <br>We loved Jerash, it was incredible.

  I’m Jordanian and lived the first 30 years of my life in Jordan, and I’ve never tipped at a restaurant.

  Just finished my trip to Belgium and the Netherlands.<br><br>Mark posts a new video about Jordan.<br><br>Hes never led me astray so far (Portugal, Japan and a few other countries.) <br><br>Guess its Jordan time.
