  Native New Yorker here. &nbsp;Retired to Cape Cod in 2007 and have not been back in yrs. &nbsp;Thank you for &nbsp; a nice blast from the past for me to see my old stomping grounds and &nbsp;many of the streets I walked &nbsp;for decades. My last apt was on East End and I walked to work on Madison and 81. Now with Mayor Mamdani I miss it ! and he would have been my neighbor. &nbsp;So much has changed especially with outdoor restaurants. Not in your video, but &nbsp;I remember when Soho was empty and scary. &nbsp;I studied Sumi-e painting there and &nbsp;I think that was the only store front. There was also an artist studio on Green Street where you needed the code to enter. &nbsp;There were about 40 artists crammed in a &nbsp;dark dirty basement there to paint the model. It cost 25 cents for a cup of coffee from a Mr. Coffee coffee pot. &nbsp;The place was very popular in spite or perhaps because of it grungy interior but mostly cause he had great models...Guessing some famous artists were there at the time. &nbsp;Sorry for the digression but NYC was more interesting decades ago before it got fancy everywhere. No Soho and Greenwich Village was &quot;The Village&quot;...&apos;Those were the days my friend, we thought they&apos;d never end&quot;..

  Today beautifully captures the harmony of New York, Where luxurious life Styles seamlessly intertwine with modest street vendors .New York is always beautiful, but it looks even more elegant and dignified through your perspective, Alice ❤ It was a wonderful trip with Alice ,whom I met at the beginning of autumn 🍂 in New York, and I&apos;d love to see her again ! 🗽🏙🏢🏣🏘🌞🐇🧝‍♀️😊

  Wish you would have gone down East 73rd street when you stopped at Marlow Restaurant on Lexington to walk by the late Gloria Steinem’s Townhouse at 118 East 73rd between Lexington and Park Avenues. Maybe next time.
