Have you tried black-lighting yet? If so, tell me your findings! Went for a different type of style this video, thinking of switching it up every so often :D

► ► JOIN MY NEW DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/5Tse5Aj

Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/enderants?fan_landing=true

Extra special thanks to AntopiaHK for being my first Patron. Come chat with myself, fellow ant keepers, and MEE6 because at the time of writing this, its only me and this bot. Be psyched for the next video, because it will definitely be my LONGEST video to date. (watch it be like an hour long lolol). I've been recording this colony since April, and holy ants, will it be an exciting one.

That's all I have to say for now, you can catch me on Instagram updating my story everyday, and Discord now that I have a server. Check the 'Community Tab' once in a while too, as I'm trying to post more on there. See you soon everyone, and bestest of luck catching queen ants!

for those interested in some extra info I just found:
"Ants are most attracted to UV wavelengths of 420-490nm. Most fluorescent black light bulbs will get you near the bottom of this range"

There's a species here in Brazil that looks uncannily similar to these possibly Thief Ant specimens. The alates are notoriously attracted to light (any light) and unbelievably numerous. There's a few days every year where the base of every street light is covered in this shifting yellow carpet, and if you forget your windows open, you'll find literally thousands of them inside. 99% males, and you'd be hard pressed to spot the females in the squirming mass, covered by a dozen horn dogs trying to get their slice of heaven before perishing.

I once saw a Toad come by one of the posts and gorge for a good couple hours. The thing could barely walk when it decided to leave.
