Erster Schnitt am Milchviehbetrieb Konrad | Mammut Siloverteiler Silofox und Walze Silo Kompakt

200 hectares of grassland, two chopper chains, two loader wagons, and powerful machines on the silo! We're visiting the Konrad family in Pfaffing, where the first harvest is currently being brought in: a logistical masterpiece that we're documenting for you with our cameras. XXL forage harvest on Austria's largest dairy farm! In the first part of our forage harvest documentary, we introduce you to the Konrad family's farm. Farmer Johann Konrad tells us how he took over the farm from his parents and why it has grown so quickly. We then accompany him and his son as they mow, teed, and rake. We take a look at the technology used and explore how high productivity and high forage quality can be combined. Part 1: 180 Hektar erster Schnitt: Futterernte XXL... The next video focuses on the harvesting process: Two chopper chains and two loader wagons collect the withered grass and bring it to the farm. There, two roller tractors are used to build a massive forage pile. In our interview, the farmer reveals all the details about the silo logistics on the large farm. The yellow attachments play a key role: the Silofox Gigant drum spreader and the Silo Kompakt compactor roller from Mammut, which we present in detail in the video.
