What Made the Ghost Stories Dub so Different

  A side note, regarding Ghost Stories&apos; ratings:<br>Ghost Stories&apos; particularly low ratings were in no short part due to having a particularly unsavory time slot. You could easily argue that its ratings were pretty good considering what it was dealing with--which I have no doubt there&apos;s a lot of truth to, since there&apos;s plenty of evidence to suggest that it did have its loyal fans. But alas, the fact still remains that its ratings were still low and that Pierrot had high standards for success. For example, GTO finished airing a month before Ghost Stories and its average rating was 28.5--about double Ghost Stories at its peak. And I&apos;m sure you don&apos;t need me to tell you that Pierrot had plenty of other shows that raked in high numbers. <br><br>Suffice to say, success is relative; and for Pierrot, Ghost Stories just wasn&apos;t up to their standard--ergo, in their eyes, it was a failure.
