A most amazing part of his life, is the absolute belief in Vincent by his brother. I wonder what really drove him. Was it love and adoration of his skill that practically made him dedicate his life to Vincent.

Van Gogh was a real inspiration for me. His representations on canvas displayed mood and character using lively colors. He was in love with nature, architecture, and pastoral settings alike. His depictions were at times raw and at other times well developed. He was a definite master of brush strokes. I do believe he reached the end of his rope and despaired over his lack of success. He took his life just as he was about to gain recognition, sadly. Thankfully, his brother pushed him to become an artist and helped him in this endeavor financially. Theo's wife is the real secret behind his ultimate success, having gathered his collection and displayed it. I am drawn to this great man who was affected by madness and alcohol, seeing something that can perhaps only be seen by squinting one's eyes and exploring his masterful techniques wholeheartedly. I enjoy plein air painting thoroughly thanks to you, Vincent. Your take on life was mesmerizing and remains important and unique even today. His flowing brush work provided movement and gushed with clashing colors, making his images stand out. His subjects were quite interesting and engaging. How sad that his life was given up prior to his recognition. The life of a creative artist is not an easy one. People still don't appreciate original music as much as repetitive pop, dismal beats, and utter garbage these days. Like Van Gogh, I am drawn to creating instead of repeating what others have done.

It's highly debated that VG did not commit suicide but was shot by 2 young men and then died after.

Get your facts straight; nobody has ever committed suicide with a shot in the stomach and then has been strong and twisted enough to get rid of the gun to a point no police search ever found out the piece in the whole field. The only reason people have classified this act a suicide is because of the tale Vincent told, in order to protect his murderer. Why so? Because he was a 10 year old kid, who happened to tell the story 65 years later at the very end of his own life. But legend prefers to nurture the 'suicide' thesis because this way we can tell the man was 'sick' and tortured to exxhaustion. And this keeps from pointing to the real fact that this very society, built on violence and antagonism, is sickness itself.
