During WWII, the U.S. made BAT BOMBS! Real bats were strapped with tiny explosives, meant to burn down cities. In testing, they escaped… and torched a military base instead. 🔥💀

What’s the wildest weapon you’ve ever heard of? Drop it in the comments! 👇

The absolute worst thing about a world without nukes, is that we would never have Godzilla movies

Like what was said in That 70s Show.

"That would be mature. But not evil! You gotta think evil, man! Where would we be without the A-Bomb?"

I would think that without Nukes, the US would press the Soviet Union into having a greater degree of effort in an invasion of Japan.

I am by no means a military weapons expert, however i do believe that nukes would have been developed before the turn of the century regardless. Someone would have taken the area of energy research and used it for bombs. Its just how humans work. If anything, the fact we created and used them so early saved us from a much worse future. Imagine a future where we had never seen first hand how terrible the earliest aromic bombs were? Nagasaki and Hiroshima were terrible yes, but they gave us a chance to say "we used them, and saw what our future could be if we ever do again". We needed that demonstration to put a leash on things before we spent decades perfecting them and being tempted to use them

Without nuclear weapons, new (to them) chemical & advanced incendiary weapons would have been developed by 1947.
It would have escalated from Desden, we did escalate things in our timeline by dropping two nuclear bombs. Phosphoric hellscapes, ammonal wastelands, and clorinated valleys would have been inevitable without nuclear weapons. 11:26 touches the surface of how "creative" things could have been.

Dude firestorm bombing was so crazy. A bunch of people hiding out in a basement we actually liquefied. They found a basement full of pink liquids

Absent nuclear knowledge, radiation therapy for cancer treatment might never have developed either.

24:07 there's also the larger zoological warfare send in a flock of mutated birds to invade a town or a farmland, or a disease ridden flea bitten swarm of rats into a port and you'd get a repeat of the black death.
