I spent years struggling with arrangement. Started using a reference method very similar to this one and started finishing at least a track a week. Years went by with unfinished tracks and then it finally just clicked. Now i finish every project.

i have literally never used a reference track because i was like nah i don't wanna sound like anyone else. the way you described it in the intro of this video im like well I've been stupid all these years i have been producing. i will study the structure of people's tracks like an architect studies buildings. thanks for this new perspective 😎👍🏼

I'm a very visual learner, and often process doesn't make sense until I've seen a map that breaks the picture down into separate elements - the whiteboard segment did that and quite effectively. I'm primarily a lyricist and have used this approach for writing before, this helped a lot of things finally click for the musical side of a song. Thank you as always.

The automation using filters has really helped me get my arrangements more coherent. Best tutorial video I have ever seen. Many thanks - NB the whiteboard graphics really helped.
