  I had no idea the Duke of Kent, QEII’s first cousin, was married to such a lovely woman, Dutchess of Kent. That she would come full circle in her life giving back  with the gift of teaching music to children in need… Well done Dutchess Kent Rest in peace now 🕊️🙏💛🎏🪅🫶🌟🪬

  I think the most memorable moment for me is when she gave her shoulder to cry on at the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.  Such empathy.

  She’d want to be most remembered for two things… being a teacher and a mother. I think it’s very special how she handled her decision to change faiths, retire from being a working royal, and have a second career as a children’s music teacher. She did it all in such a graceful way. There was no drama. There was just respectful discussions with QEII and then a quiet pulling back from visible royal life. She was still including in family affairs because she was still family. She was welcomed with open arms as a beloved cousin of the queen. <br><br>I genuinely hope future royals who choose to step back from royal duties follow her model and do so with such grace and elegance.

  She was so naturally graceful and elegant, yet entirely down to earth. One of the best of the royal family. I&apos;m saddened to hear of her passing--I always admired her.

  She was the biggest jewel of them all,what a precious lady,and also,music changes lives ,especially of young children ,it enriched mine in every possible way ,her attending of the needs of children was probably her greatest legacy ! Rest in peace Katherine Duchess of Kent .

  I always have loved your video on the jewels. But Katherine, Dutchess of Kent, is the true jewel here! She was so beautiful inside and out. My condolences to her family, to the British people, to all the charities she was patron of. You have indeed lost much! May she rest in peace.

  A lovely lady who did her duty well and then retired to teach. &nbsp;She had several difficult times in her life but somehow she and her husband weathered those storms together and remained a steady and constant support for the BRF, even in her retirement. . I knew she was getting quite infirm but she still showed up for the Duke&apos;s birthday serenade this past year. My heartfelt sympathies to her husband and their children and grands. &nbsp;<br><br> The Kents were not overly rich with jewels but it looks like she wore what she had beautifully. Making the most of what you have. &nbsp;You did a nice presentation of a lovely lady and the jewels that she set off beautifully. Your careful research yielded some lovely and poignant little stories.

  The Janna Navotna moment stands out. The Duchess was always the epitome of style &amp; elegance but her beautiful gesture that day brought her to a different level entirely. She was just supreme ❤
