  I didn't hear anyone in the west complained about selling cars to China. Now China learned how to build better cars at competitive prices; attractive enough to entice western buyers to take a good look at them and the panic sets in. The best way to stop Chinese cars from coming in, is to build better cars yourself. Even Germany can't do that now after it lost the cheap energy supply from Russia.

  I have just bought a brand new, cherry tigo 4, for less than 19000 pounds, and for the price I think it is absolutely brilliant car, for me, the price means everything, and I could not care less where it is made, Chinese technology is now probably the best in the world.

  if nearly all the Chinese EV are bought by local customers, then it is no overcapacity, supply meets demand. if the EV after being shipped to UK, find no local buyers and need to be stored in parking lots, then it is overcapacity, supply is more than demand.

  This video is just a normal smear on China. &nbsp;Every global car maker makes car in China. &nbsp;The Chinese car market is the world&apos;s biggest. &nbsp;In 2025 it made 34.53 million passenger cars. &nbsp;The world&apos;s biggest economy like the US made only 10.2 to 10.6 million motor vehicles. &nbsp;Thus China makes &nbsp;3 times more car than the US. &nbsp;Many Chinese cars are made for export like Tesla which isn&apos;t owned by the Chinese. &nbsp;in 2025 China exported 21.22% of it production overseas to &quot;meet&quot; the demand. &nbsp;China cannot tell the consumers what cars to buy. &nbsp;It is always the consumers who decide!<br><br>The other important consideration is car dealerships in UK have not grown but are shrinking because poor business. &nbsp;Many car dealers of Ford, Seat, Range Rover, Subaru, Mitsubishi &nbsp;etc stop selling the British and Japanese cars to switch to selling Chinese cars just to survive because it is a viable business. &nbsp;They could buy a car from China and double its price in UK and still able to sell them like hot cakes. &nbsp;That is now a fact because Chinese cars are always better spec, offers more value for money, most economic to run and technically superior to other brands of the same segment. &nbsp;This is my experience after owning two Chinese Phev, a MG HS and now a Omoda 9.<br><br>The majority of UK car buyers are conservative people who do not change brand easily unless it is evidently an outstanding deal that is affordable to buy, economic to run, luxurious and convenient to use. The experience is akin to stepping off a hot and sweaty London underground and board &quot;any&quot; Chinese metro to find out the spotless clean polished porcelain floor in the ultra modern station, phone signal and air conditioning in every corner (including &nbsp;trains) but paying less than 1/10 of the fare in London.

  JLR has not been British for years and is made badly. Would not touch a JLR with 10 foot pole. I hope we can make more cars in this country, no matter the badge.

  Chinese not buying Chinese EVs. This is absurb because non Chinese cars sales are falling too. Any large organisation will want to export their goods overseas too, just like Toyota, BMW, etc.just because Chinese EVs are selling overseas, you just make up nonsense that they are dumping the cars overseas. What a snake you are.

  over the years British cars were exploitative and overly expensive. now China is liberating the world and some people are not comfortable. i have had Chinese byd for &nbsp;3years and no trouble drives better
