Ladies, do not stay in the same home with a man you are divorcing. This is dangerous.

She was a friend of mine and I'll never forget her. She was such a good person and dedicated mother. She stayed in a miserable situation because she didn't want to move the kids out of the only home they ever knew. She told me that she slept next to the front door with her purse/phone because she was scared. May justice be served. Thanks for keeping her story alive after all these years

I worked with Lisa in the lunchroom at our kids school and she poured her heart out to me about the hell she was going through with her abusive husband. Lisa was the sweetest kindest gentle soul. We both worked school hours only to allow us to be there for our children. She was an extremely devoted Mom! She also had a tattoo with her children’s names she wore proudly. She was absolutely not out all night-ever!
She quietly confided in me that at our time working together, that Craig had gotten in big trouble as he was caught with unregistered guns. They were in financial trouble due to this. I went in to the Plainfield Police Department when she went missing hoping to provide confidential conversations Lisa and I had, in hopes they would help. My heart sank when this seemed to just fall on dead ears 😭
Lisa is truly loved and terribly missed.

I left an abusive marriage with $5, my car and my cat. He tried to stop me in the driveway by kicking and punching my car causing damage. I slept in my car that night then called the dv hotline who arranged for a safe place for me to go to. I stayed 3 months while sorting out my life. They even helped with food, counseling, finding a job and keeping me safe. DO NOT STAY with an abusive spouse... its not worth the risk. Leave today, there is ALWAYS a place for you and your children to go. Call the holiness, they were amazing!

I worked a nearby town when this happened. I remember the flyers everywhere. The husband wouldn't let the kids talk to the cops. Thank you for keeping this cold case alive. I love you so much Nancy! May justice be served 💔
