Marvel Rivals is hitting like prime, pre-controversy OW, glad Asmon liked it and can’t wait to see him play ranked

This is the only game where when they put a guy in a wheelchair into the game, not a single gamer will cry its unrealistic XD

The game is actually so fun. The first 4 games I played as spiderman I didnt even care that I was losing and barely participating in fights. And for a competitive person like me, that's a huge change in mindset.
They made him feel so fluid, it felt like I was playing the older spiderman games again. I honestly feel I could go a whole match webbing around and I'd probably love it.
I then tried penny / the hulk and realized how crazy good tanks are in this game. I also may have yelled "LOOK ITS DVA" (typical braindead dva main like myself).

It's just the right amount of unbalanced and fun while still retaining the objective based gameplay. There's some lobbies full of sweats still but i'd say the majority of people I've met just wanna have fun with it, win or lose. And that's great for the playerbase. Too many communities have built around over-competitive natures and toxicity. It's very refreshing to see this change of pace in players (and developers) mindset so far in this game.

It reminds me of how TF2 got popular. It wasn't because it was super balanced and competetive. It was because it was genuinely fun to play even if you were losing and the "unbalanced" part just added a level of entertainment. If you can laugh off the bs, the game becomes much more enjoyable.

Galacta/Gali has actually been a thing in the comics for like 15-20 years; but she isn't from the main 616 Earth canon but has been building up more popularity especially now thanks to Rivals lol she will probably become more canon soon. Cosmic beings like Galactus can naturally develop energy "parasites" which feed off their power and eventually break off into another cosmic being.

I've nearly 130 hours into this game since release day, and I'm nowhere near stopping. I'm having an absolute blast.
