I already knew most of these, but enjoyed the trip down memory lane nevertheless. 👍

Each little clip you showed just triggered memories for me and the laughing started. My top tv shows of all time, taking over All in the Family now at #2. I recall the first episode I ever watched. A friend at work asked me if I have been watching Seinfeld, to which I said no. His only response was watch one episode and you will be sold. That week "The Non-Fat Yogurt" episode ran. Now I wasn't really paying attention to the show because I was making dinner, but the bleeped out parts happened, and I was like "wait, what did they just say"?!? Thank goodness for the DVR, I quickly went back to the beginning and my co-worker was right, I was sold! George is my all time favorite Character on TV, again overtaking Archie Bunker now at #2.

It is amazing how many things in the show actually happened to me as well.

I faked it....I recall faking it just to get some sleep.
Having a set of rules with an old ex-girlfriend so we could just have sex and no other attachments
George saying to Jerry, you're not in the mood for details. I was sitting in a Chili's with a friend, in 1984 who would always give sexual details and said he wasn't in the mood. At the time I was out of work and living with my parents and of course I said almost the same exact line George said.
Throw up streak. While Jerry's ended, mine is still going strong. I haven't thrown up since December 23, 1979.

I was waiting for you guys to mention the bass line. A lot of people work hard to figure out how to play that on Bass and he did it on keyboards with beatboxing. Pretty innovative for the time.

I don’t know if you mentioned it on the all in the family episode, but in the beginning, Carol, O’Connor and Jeanne Stapleton would play the intro live every week. Jeanne actually played the piano while she and Carol would sing, and she purposely tried to make Edith’s voice more and more irritating as time went on. If you watch those first couple of seasons, you will hear it. Eventually, they went to a canned intro.

I'm 43 and mentioned to my 21 yr old son a few months back that my 3 favourite shows all start with an "S".
Seinfeld
Sopranos
Shameless
and he goes "what, you like that stupid Seinfeld show?". Hell yea I do. Back in my early 20s I used to hustle and I'd sit in an empty dumpy one bedroom apartment I rented for $500/month with a tv on a kitchen chair, another kitchen chair I'd sit on and a DVD player. I'd watch the Seinfeld boxset while I'd wait for calls before heading out for a few minutes lol. A few years later I had a private bar/lounge and during Wednesday and every other Friday nights when my friends and associates would assemble for poker games, I'd sit in my office in the back watching Seinfeld all night from 9pm til about 4 or 5 in the morning when they were finally done. Seinfeld was my GoTo sitcom.

I think I might’ve been the only person who never watched the show. It looks like the exact type of comedy I would love, but I really didn’t watch much network television at the time. Luckily these things are in permanent purgatory on streaming platforms and I can watch it at any time and for some reason that makes me watch television even less. Anybody ever feel like that?

Seinfeld is my favorite sitcom of all time. It was brilliant. The writers had to work within the limits of censors and still get the point across. Master of my domain is just one. “He took it out” was also hilarious. IMO innuendo makes the jokes funnier. Anyone can make a crude joke. Requires zero originality. TBF-99% of the situations they got themselves into could now be solved with cellphones.
