  I gasped when I learned the signature had been covered up with no effort of repainting it. Who in their right mind...?

  The way I gasped when I realized the heavy overpaint REMOVED THE AGING AND WRINKLES I&apos;M SO MAD

  When you removed the overpainting from the face, the expression in the eyes and mouth revealed the pain and sadness of loss. &nbsp;This woman was in mourning, and the bad restorer overpainted her with a smile.

  They changed her from an older woman to younger and smiling. Shameful attempt at a restoration. I&apos;m glad you gave the original its soul again

  Painting over the artist&apos;s signature was a crime in itself.

  The original eyes are practically photograph level painting. So glad you were able to bring them back. That artist was very talented.

  With how minimal the damage was, I looks like this wasn&apos;t a restoration fail, but rather a new artist practicing on a painting that held no value to them

  I cannot get over her mouth. Someone actually sat and painted over her mouth, turned it into a slight smile, and also made the mouth crooked. I was so glad when you removed the overpaint and we could see her actual mouth and face. She actually looked human underneath all that paint.
