No gas station should ever have just one employee working at night. That’s just looking to get robbed. Nah, I’m locking that door or calling the police.

I was an assistant manager for a gas station. Where I was it was pretty much policy that 3rd shift worked alone. So I've had to do many overnight double shifts. It definitely is creepy working by yourself overnight. I was lucky that nothing ever  happened while I was working. Same can't be said for a couple of my coworkers. One got robbed (and then fired), and another was a witness for a domestic dispute. There was a couple and the girl was getting the absolute sh*t kicked out of her.  She ran into the store and the guy she was with dragged her out by her hair back into the car and then sped off. Night shift you never know what's gonna happen.  Especially since we just happened to be across the street from a bar. I'd say the worst that's happened to me is a guy got a little too handsy and kissed me on the neck to thank me for a cig.  Turns out that same guy was the boyfriend of one of the nurses that I was going to for my monthly infusions. 😂

Had a friend that worked at an adult toy store. She said a month after starting there, someone would call DAILY breathing heavy. One day she was irritated, got smart with him, and that apparently made him "finish". She just hung up on the heavy breathing calls after that.
