  I’m actually impressed with how well it turned out. It obviously doesn’t “pop” like a true paint job, but it still looks decent.

  Pro painter tip.<br>On your final pass roll in the same direction. It&apos;s a small thing but then the paint &quot;lays&quot; in the same direction and looks more uniform.

  I love the way you payed attention to your boy instead of shooing him away, to be included meant so much to him it could easily be seen in his face. - Iv done this never with great results but Im about to do my boat, this time I&apos;m going to try rolling 2 pack it should level out nicely because it takes so long to dry also you can get rolling drops as an additive to help with levelling out, haven&apos;t tried yet but hey we are all learning.

  Only thing I didn&apos;t see that would have been a real eye opener for this video would have been some closeup shots of before and after the work was done. Giving that real side by side comparison would inspire more people who don&apos;t have the money for a professional paint job to try to make their cars look better and last longer. Thank you for the effort of putting this video together.

  I saw this kinda thing a lot growing up. Mostly painted with a brush though, I remember helping a friend paint his 84 Corolla in his yard using oil based paint and brushes. We set up a wooden rig as a kinda guide so all the brush strokes were lined up along the length of the car. It ended up looking pretty cool, like deliberate texture in the paint. When you are broke you tend to get creative. Then you see some rich kid at school with a brand new mustang (foxbody in those days) and in a year he has another, new car cuz someone keyed it (hey, whatcha looking at me for :P). Necessity is the mother of invention. On my first car I used spray cans and ended up doing about 12 coats before sanding it back all the way down to 2000 grit then hand buffing (as in with a rag and buffing compound). The whole process took me a month of afternoons and weekends but I ended up with a near professional finish, especially once I waxed it.

  I’ve watched atleast four videos on painting a car with a roller and all I can say is I wish I found this one first. It’s the best one I’ve seen, great job and thanks for all the useful information. Rock on

  🤣🤣🤣 flashbacks. I remember when I was a kid and my uncle did his 50 foot paint job. 🤣👍🏼🤣 He painted i mid 80’s Ford Escort with red porch paint and Yeahhhhh it looked pretty good from about 50 feet. 🤣🤣🤣 Summer rolled around and he decided he wanted a convertible. Grabbed a saw and hacked off the roof.

  Back in 1971 our neighbors painted their &nbsp;58 Chevy &nbsp;wagon with a roller! They two toned it, black and yellow!

  Wow. HUGE thanks for taking the time to post the vid. You are very well spoken, clear and informative. Major props to you--great to see a dad patiently engage with a young son. Oh yeah, to the point of your vid -your car came out EXCELLENT for $60 (even though it peed in your carport)!!! Anyway, I plan to paint an old(er) Jeep with the same method. I figure it&apos;s a Jeep, so it isn&apos;t supposed to be a showpiece, but, if it turns out half as good as your Toyota, I&apos;ll be thrilled. Thanks again, and take care, man!
