I was telling a close family member about Jesus and what he did for us, and at first, she would get angry every time I planted a seed. Then last month, she started asking questions, and now she wants a Bible for Christmas, and I'm giving her a bible for Christmas. Please pray for her. He name is Brett❤

I'm a female, and not a pastor / senior pastor. ( I'm not in favor of female pastors or deacons, to be honest. I believe those are male appointed roles by God, supported by women).
A few years ago, my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was going very quickly .
In the last week of her life while in palliative care , she called me. She professed her faith, she also did so in an email to our family.
She asked me about baptism.
Because she had not been in the church for many years she didn't have a pastor to ask. So I asked mine. Knowing that her time was very short and specifically saying so to one of my pastors, he said that he would have to talk to the senior pastor in order to get permission.
In our church, in order to be baptized, they have to go through the full 6 week course of catechism ( we are not Catholic, we are Mennonite).
And she did not have time .
The pastor never got back to me.
Days later, she passed away.
Not having her wishful filled of being baptized.
I actually wish on her final days there that I had just gone in and baptized her myself , and I do not believe it would have been wrong because she made a profession of faith and it was her desire to be baptized and have communion.
It still hurts my heart, and I believe our church failed her because they were more concerned about protocol. In the situation I believe protocol could be overlooked. Had she survived, she could have done catechism afterwards.

I'd like to be able to ask the guy speaking about a humble and honest seeking agnostic, what IS your standard for evidence? Like what would qualify to you as enough or good enough I mean. I went through about a year and a halfish of studying apologetics, strenuously, seeking the truth daily after being indoctrinated by a couple years of the joe Rogan podcast and others. It wasn't until I was at the sink doin dishes one day that I said "God, idk if you're real or if the Christian Bible is true, but I'm just gonna do what it says." Iv never meant anything iv said so much before. I woke up the next day, and I felt different but didn't realize it entirely until I evaluated my behavior a couple days later. Changes occurred in my life that iv never been able to have control over, the way I treated people, the things I thought about, everything about me was just suddenly different. Now, did God tell me that he's real and that he made these changes in my life? No not at all, but it the best explanation.. I believe that it is. What qualifies as evidence to you? I think that's an important question to ask yourself, evaluated your standards and ask yourself if you're being reasonable.
