  I brought my wife back to Arkansas from Nha Trang. And, Bún Bò Huế is my favorite as well. She makes it for us about once a week. I love Vietnam and can’t wait for us to go back.By the way I’ve watched your videos for about 3 years and love your presentation of your content.

  Retiring in a few months and starting my first few months in Cebu to acclimate. I watch a TON of YouTube videos on SE Asia and your content is far and away my favorite. I hope to live life similar to you, but probably without a camera 😊

  I flew into Saigon, jumped onto another plane to DaNang and spent the night there. I ended up jumping onto a bus the next morning and going to Hoi An and found a hotel there. It’s a nice town in this delta area near the ocean. There are a couple of different areas to the city. The main business district where they have a lot of street vendors, restaurants and shops along the river. Then there is another area towards the ocean. They call that area ‘garden village’ because all the home owners and businesses have their own garden nearby. There were small mom and pop restaurants with regular and herb gardens along side their businesses where they walk and grab herbs to throw in the food they were cooking. I stayed at a place that had bicycles for the guests. I would ride into the business district through the rice paddies on a raised concrete path for walkers and bicycles, away from the vehicles, every day to buy street vendor food and explore. I absolutely love the town of Hoi An. I plan on going back in December ‘26. Hoi An is well known to have clothing tailor made for you. I had Buffalo leather boots made for a perfect fit. They take all the measurements etc then in a day or two they are done. It’s a quaint smaller town, but bigger than Sapa.

Would absolutely love to see more China videos from you! I’m from Kentucky and am relatively well-traveled within the US, but I’ve never been abroad — I really appreciate the style of your videos giving us an authentic glimpse into these places.

  I’m very interested in moving to Vietnam. But as a 6’2” 260 lb man my biggest fear is crushing those little plastic chairs the restaurants have for customers. 😂

  It’s a good idea to use a straw when drinking soda from a can because there are often rats on the boats that transport the goods. Use a straw unless you wipe the mouthpiece area with a wet wipe of something like that.

  away from the tourist traps definitely seems to be where the real value and the authentic experiences happen. &nbsp;i&apos;m noticing the vids that just show the tourist tours are boring and give you zweo sense for what the place is really like. &nbsp;thanks for sharing.
