  Ace of the Gangrene Gang joined the <i>Gorillaz</i> for a while is even funnier considering that Jamie Hewlett is friends with Craig McCracken, which explained the crossovers. Heck! Even PPG has already referenced Gorillaz before, at least in the PPG Movie where Mojo read a newspaper with the ad of the Gorillaz concert.

  Damon and Jamie used to fight a lot over the music getting more attention than the story and videos, to the point of almost splitting up multiple times. It&apos;s really tragic how so many creative differences, label fuck ups and sales influenced the story and integrity of the band. Like all the collabs and advertising would&apos;ve been something Demon Days Gorrilaz criticised, but I&apos;d rather see more Gorrilaz than not. Damon made a lot of music outside of Gorrilaz, the man lives music and won&apos;t stop until he&apos;s dead, so it really is more about Jamie getting the funding. Really wished that Netflix movie happened, but honestly considering how Netflix is, it was probably for the better.
