  It was because of Maurice‘s Kickstarter campaign for the Fold that I started spinning. I saw an ad for it in a Handwoven email and decided that I couldn’t wait a year or so to get my hands on an E spinner, so I bought the EEW 6.1, which I love. One of the things that is really cool about an E spinner is that you can sit sideways to do long draw and not kink your shoulder.  This little Fold machine is everything I expected it to be. The guy is an absolute genius.

  i'm one of the ppl who can only spin with an espinner. i have really bad arthritis not only in my knees and ankles but also in my shoulders, which rules spindles out. i'm so thankful to maurice for making these affordable accessible spinning tools no matter what ppl think of them. i can spin the yarn i want to spin on them and that's all that matters. if anyone has other opinions they can keep it to themselves.

  Espinners are the reason I can spin at all. I need both feet firmly planted to be able to sit up at all, much less sitting up without using my hands for support. So treadle wheels are completely out of the question, and for a decade I wanted to try but thought I never could, until I saw someone in a video use one of these. Life-changing.<br>I didn&apos;t know the fold had actually released! I&apos;d definitely get one if I had the budget... But I already own a nano2 and a 6.0 so I can&apos;t justify it haha.<br>I personally love the nano for rolags specifically because I can actually find that spot where it&apos;s not actually trying to yank the yarn out of my hand... The 6 is much more rougher. Like a very stubborn and very muscly ploughhorse lol. But a tip for anyone else struggling with that aspect is that on an espinner, you&apos;re not forced to sit super close by treadling! Especially with the footswitch, you can sit further back and actually have a longer length of yarn between you and the wheel to queue up your twist into and then even it out as you go, and it gets more time to even out while you let it feed on, too!<br>Anyway great video and great choice of test fiber ;)

  It’s been almost a full year now since I became enamored with spinning, and after a rough car accident(s) and job loss your channel and the hope that I’ll have my own wheel someday has kept me going all year. I’ll be forever grateful I decided on a whim to learn crochet &amp; knitting back in middle school, the angora rabbit-hole I’ve fallen down demands I try my best to grow old ❤️‍🔥

  As a mom, being able to spin without my kids being able to touch or reach my spinner sounds right up my alley. My oldest is 5 and wild curious. My youngest is 11 months and all mouth on everything. I might have to purchase this for myself as an early Christmas gift💕

  I love Dreaming Robots! I have the Nano and the yard counter. Their customer service is great and their product is amazing. I take the nano to my daughter&apos;s swim practices and to my guild events. It&apos;s super light weight and portable.

  I have an EEW6 and I love it. You can also use the switch on the table instead of the floor. Additionally, I have an adapter to use it as a bobbin winder for my weaving shuttles.

  I think an e-spinner is next for me. Don&apos;t get me wrong. I love my spindles &amp; I&apos;m in-love with the idea of spinning wheels. But I think an e-spinner will fit my budget &amp; space better than a full wheel &amp; I&apos;m ready to try to add something new to my spinning experience. Not to worry, my spindles aren&apos;t going anywhere. 😊

  That&apos;s a 1950&apos;s to 60&apos;s spinner. The plug and material reminds me of some of my mom&apos;s gadgets. <br>❤ to your kitty ... striking markings.
