  It's actually scary when george scolds or raises his tone towards the kids. Most of the time he acts as if he's scared of mary or just chills. He's scary when he's in bad mood too. Props to him for never taking out his work stress to his family. He has his flaws but he's one of the best dads.

He did try to treat his children fairly and did handle the situation pretty well. He had told Sheldon to leave Missy alone because he valued her feelings but also was sympathetic when Sheldon&apos;s picture was torn apart. Also, Mary didn&apos;t know what prompted Missy to do what she did and she just instantly yelled at her even though Sheldon did really misbehave first by not following his dad&apos;s order and then acting out. Missy&apos;s behaviour was not right but she was emotional and her dad knew that and tried to cut her some slack just as Mary ALWAYS did for Sheldon.
