  The “doesn’t care” and “grumpy” get bandied around a lot. But after playing SO many iconic parts, I think his detachment is not only healthy, but the best possible reaction.

  Nobody does fame like Harrison Ford. His nonchalance about the idea of being &quot;famous&quot; and almost purely doing what he does for the sake of his own love of it is a lesson for us all. Don&apos;t be bogged down by the perceptions of others, &nbsp;don&apos;t let that perception inflate your ego as you see so many these days do. He enjoys the work yet doesn&apos;t let it control his life in a way most other actors seem to. We&apos;re all just humans at the end of the day, and Harrison is such a great example of it.<br><br>Thank you Dodford for another magnificent doc, someone else who clearly loves the work he does, and it makes it shine through each and every video

  Harrison Ford is probably my all time favorite “Hollywood Star.”<br><br>The ‘80, ‘81, ‘82 run of Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Blade Runner has to be one of the most incredible runs of all time. <br><br>Great work as always, Dod.

  I&apos;d argue he cares deeply about the roles he plays, and he&apos;s appreciative of the love he&apos;s shown, but he&apos;s very clever about how he appears in public. He knows the audience love the cynic, and he&apos;s happy to play that part for them. He isn&apos;t looking to be recognised as the smiley, grateful guy. He doesn&apos;t want anything more than he has, and that&apos;s rare for a movie star.

  I can&apos;t believe I&apos;ve gone this long without knowing Harrison is from Chicago. This legitimately explains his whole personality regarding his acting career and his views on star wars. His generation were those of quite confidence, and a certain indifference to recognition and attachment. My grandparents act very similar to how Harrison has in interviews, and I&apos;ve seen this perspective trickle down through the generations into my life as well.<br><br>Chicago, like all other major cities, has stereotypes. Some are bad, and some we should revisit. I always wondered why I just understood his perspective, and now I get it. He just acts like what I&apos;ve seen from old Chicagoans lol

  I have finally found someone here who allows the protagonist of the video to tell his own story and in his own words without unnecessary, repetitive or stupid overdubbed commentaries. My compliments to Dodford. whomever you may be. It shows how you respect the people you want to represent here. I wished others would take this as an example on how to present or introduce a personality, either in the entertainment industry or in any other activity in life.

  My dad was a lot like Harrison. Grumpy and nonchalant on the outside but truly the most giving and sympathetic man I ever knew. Almost one year without him but I can&apos;t still appreciate the reflections of him that exist in strangers I&apos;ll never meet.

  What a beautiful way to go against the narrative that Harrison Ford is just a big old grump and just acts for the paycheck. He really loves acting and will keep doing it until he doesn’t. Which doesn’t look like its anytime soon since joining the MCU.<br><br>Harrison has achieved legend status many times over and I can’t wait to see the next role he does where he inevitably gains it again.<br><br>Bravo Dodford!
