  His wife and kids not use to killing, thats why they were scared. It was in the beginning of the apocalypse He isnt abusive. In the comic books those men he killed raped his wife and kids while he was on an errand run, they were his friends, they definitely deserved to die. The wife and kids were scared due to the brutality of how he killed them.

  For context about Abraham. When the outbreak started, Abraham&apos;s family stayed in a grocery store with a couple of their friends and neighbors. <br><br>One day when Abraham went on a supply run, some of the men had assaulted Abraham&apos;s wife and daughter. <br><br>When Abraham found out he brutally massacred everyone involved and that&apos;s what you saw. <br><br>Sadly this ended up terrifying Abraham&apos;s family seeing him as no better than the attackers and so they left.

  Abraham‘s family it’s just the opposite. They were scared because they haven’t seen that before not because they had.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENlLI4_6YNc&amp;t=1493">24:53</a> &nbsp;I&apos;m confused about you saying that Abraham is unemotional because of his military background. &nbsp;Abraham isn&apos;t particularly logical or unemotional - he&apos;s constantly a ball of seething emotion. &nbsp;His decision to keep going is an emotional one - Rosita is the one who is being logical in that situation. &nbsp;His decision to decamp in the middle of the night back at the church was an emotional one - anyone could have seen that risking the road in the middle of the night was a bigger risk to Eugene than staying in a fortified location with others around to help defend him - he was motivated by fear. &nbsp;When he was trying to convince Glen to drop the search for Maggie back when they first met he lost his temper at the drop of a hat. &nbsp;He is probably one of the least unemotional people we&apos;ve run across. &nbsp;He&apos;s almost entirely motivated by target fixation and frustration. &nbsp;What he <i>is</i> is accustomed to violence - he even enjoys it occasionally. &nbsp;That&apos;s not unemotional either.<br><br>Re: Eugene&apos;s Lie. &nbsp;I&apos;ve never been able to tell if the writers came up with such a BS story for him on purpose or if they are just typical Hollywood writers who know nothing about science and can&apos;t be bothered to do a little googling. &nbsp;Scientists, even those who work on classified stuff, love to talk about science. &nbsp;Eugene never said what his specialty was, what his PhD was in, what his dissertation research was about, any of the typical things a scientist would talk about. &nbsp;And the Human Genome Project finished in 2003 (the show is set after 2010), so not only was him being employed by it impossible, but it had nothing to do with medicine or disease research, much less bio-weapons development. &nbsp;So when I watched this the first time when Abraham&apos;s group showed up my very first reaction was that Eugene was lying his ass off - but then I had to question whether it was just bad writing and the writers actually thought any of that sounded like a reasonable plot line.

  Tom, get used to the boomerang storytelling. It was notorious during this season and continues. &nbsp;You&apos;ll visit one story for 3 episodes and wont get a resolution to the other story during that time, then after 3 episodes, you return back to the original characters you wanted to get a resolution on. &nbsp;GOD Melissa McBride looks so good during this season.

  I relate to Eugene on certain levels. I&apos;m neurodiverse and possibly somewhere on the ADHD/Autism spectrum, and I struggle with expressing emotions. In fact, I&apos;ll start crying if I have to explain myself, but it&apos;s just too hard for me to do. I mostly keep to myself and avoid socializing.
