I will never understand why murder and crimes against children have a statute of limitations. It doesn’t make any sense.

Imagine telling the guy you put in jail for 17 years by mistake "the investigation was appropriate". What a piece of trash.

This case makes me sooo upset, you lock up an innocent man for 17 years and then the guy that murdered these poor girls gets away free. Like why??? It just really makes me blood boil

How on Earth would there be a statute of limitations on murder, let alone on the murder of children?! The video even alluded to the fact that they have a match to the real killer, but because of statute, can do nothing. I call BS on Japanese law.

Why would have have a statute of limitations on murder? No murderer should ever be in peace knowing that they are no longer sought.

Kiyoshi Shimizu is an absolute giga chad for doing what he did in both cases!

I read manga (like Ijousha no Ai) where most of the time I tell my self why don’t they just go to the cop for help. And from this video, it semi-answer why most manga characters choose to not seek help from the police.

Ugh, so heartbreaking. Those poor children. A "statue of limitations" on murder is appalling. Its sad enough there's a 5y one for rape. The laws need to change...but they won't. I feel it's because they just don't want to pursue offenders/POI. Unbelievable. Rip Angel's 🕊🦋♥️
Obvi it wasn't the man in custody.
Great job Kyle as always my friend.💯👊👍🩵
God bless 👑🙏🕊❤️🩹❤️🩹

Idk why the police department in this case is so caught up in “keeping up their reputation”.
Seems like they’re doing the exact opposite imo
It’s already terrible. They’re just making themselves look so much worse. There was no reputation to keep up in the first place.

It's unbelievable they have a 100% dna match & video but the statute of limitations has passed so "oh well." I understand why statutes are in place for certain crimes but dang... these young girls were murdered & got no justice. It's very sad for the families.

Someone needs to get the law changed, these types of crimes should never have a statute of limits!
