  I have no notes.<br><br>I have been married for 18 years and have observed how dating has devolved into the disaster it is. I was learning these patterns when I met my now wife and can confirm everything you said here. If my kids were a few years older I&apos;d be trying to explain this to them as well as you just explained it, but for now they still get to be the juveniles they are and I will simply encourage them to learn how to exist in the world in general.

  I wasn’t wanting to go too personal, but hell, I’ve almost abandoned all hope. <br><br>I haven’t approached a girl romantically in the last year and a half. I had many women in my circle last year, but the more I got to know them, the more I lost interest. I tend to fall in love with unknown persons — I know it’s strange. I’ve always been rejected; once, a cold approach even turned into a friendship. Now I’m working and no longer around people my age. I don’t know where to begin, and I don’t know whether I should give up and stop hurting myself over women I can’t have. <br><br>This is my bottle to the sea.

  16 here, i find it hard to connect with anyone on a serious emotional level. I have people that i’m friendly with, 1 friend that’s pretty close, but no one that truly understands me; as i find it hard to open myself up to people. Now the reason behind this is obscure to me. It may be because i feel disgusted with who i am, or maybe i don’t even know who i am at all. However, this video makes me want to make a change and actually try to interact and connect with people. This week im going to try to start small talk with individuals i see on the daily (gas station, grocery store, etc.). I also think im going to join a club this school year, so i can really connect with people on something i care about. I’ll come back in a few weeks to update this comment.

  I’m still young. I’m actually so young that I get my license to drive by myself in 2 days. I’ve always been the person to not be invited to anything but always being social. Within the last year or so I’ve actually learned how to have a real friend. And I believe that getting my license will multiply my freedom to find new people. This was very helpful. But not the steps, the part at the end where you said that this was just about being a regular human being. And the being direct part.

  Met a girl in my college classes we had 2 together same major. Pretty much did what u said, talked to her got to know her over the semester. Not entirely close but we had multiple one on one conversations and she even initiated a few, we even had a conversation on the 2nd to last day of class for 20-30 minutes I was gonna ask her to coffee in person but couldn’t catch her one on one. So i texted her and she said thank you and that she was busy with her last 2 classes and work but she’ll lmk when she’s free. That was 2 months ago almost 🫩. I genuinely liked this girl and felt like I did everything right. It was my first time asking out a girl I’m 23.
