  One time I was on an international exchange program so I got to live with my Japanese host family. I didn’t know I was supposed to leave the bath water for them after I bathed so I just drained everything. Only the next morning I was told by the international exchange manager that the Japanese share bath water. My host family didn’t want to make me feel bad for not knowing the night before. They were so kind I loved them😭

  When I went to Japan, our bathroom had a TV so you can watch while having a bath 😂 I love Japan!

  Not just in a “Modern “ Japanese house. My in-laws house is 37 years old and has &nbsp;all the same features. &nbsp;These have been in Japanese homes a long time.

  i stayed at an airbnb in osaka a couple of years ago and the bathroom was almost identical, even down to the colour. such a well thought out design. i absolutely loved it! and of course the toilet as well. i shave in the shower so loved being able to sit in front of the full length mirror and switch the water from the shower head to the tap to rinse off the razor. cleaning was a breeze with the shower head and the whole wet room situation. and the drying functions made sure there were no problems with dampness. the water pressure was amazing too, but i guess that can vary.<br><br>when i moved house last year (i live in sydney) i was hoping to find a place with a similar bathroom and toilet. but even though the bathrooms looked really nice, they just didn&apos;t have the same range of convenient features. fortunately one thing that is pretty standard here in australia is a detachable shower head. other than that though, we just can&apos;t compare to a good japanese bathroom.

  Removable shower heads is something I thought everyone in the US has....interesting.

  The &apos;&apos;help&apos;&apos; button in the bathroom to the kitchen is SO helpful, so many accidents are waiting to happen in a bathroom, especially if you have young children, are disabled, or live with someone elderly. Even if nothing happens, if you run out of toilet paper at least you don&apos;t have to yell for a new roll lol.

  I live in the USA and we have had hand held shower head for a long time. I thought they were common everywhere. Certainly very useful. We have an imitation Japanese toilet with bidet, seat warmer and dryer to &nbsp;dry your privates! Very useful &nbsp;and much better than dry toilet paper! &nbsp;And we didn’t panic buy toilet paper either LOL! I want to go to Japan some day soon. Love all your videos but I especially like the food ones.
