  I played Efren when he was in his prime ... a Big Tournament for 1 million dollars, winner takes all.<br>And to my surprise... after shooting nearly perfect pool, &nbsp;I was one 9 Ball away from Blanking the GOAT, &nbsp;Efren Reyes himself. &nbsp;<br>And just as I was steadying my cue for an easy corner pocket and easily my Biggest Tournament Win..... &nbsp;my wife suddenly WAKES me?!? 😭😭 Nooooooooo....<br> And I was SO CLOSE .... Damn!! 😏

  You can always learn something from watching Efren. Often it&apos;s stuff that most would miss if not paying close attention. Example at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELDs6fdCU54&amp;t=530">8:50</a>; awkward cueing situation, so he goes down level like a normal shot, then once he&apos;s in alignment, he slowly raises his body up just enough so that he can hit low on the cueball for a stop shot while still maintaining his alignment. Much better technique than trying to sight the ball starting from that jacked up body position.

  Seeing Efren playing like this in 2004 is even more daunting when you realize that he was actually several years past his prime.

  Hat&apos;s off to Danny DiLiberto, great commentating. So many want to find a weakness in Efren game, so since they can&apos;t they resort to talking about his break.<br>Efren Reyes hands down is the best player I&apos;ve seen in my 60+ years. The only thing that can match him is his &quot;humility&quot;.

  Thank you accu stat for &nbsp;putting mister reyes available to everyone to enjoy his illustrated career. <br><br><br>Truly the greatest of all time. <br>Nobody had been that good in EVERY cue sports.
