lol the craziest part about this video is that you have to do all this just have a semblance of privacy, which we should just have

Anything we can use to protect ourselves from surveillance is a valuable resource! I learned a lot, thank you!

At this point, if people want privacy their best option is just to flood the system with bad data. Have lots of devices, allow all the tracking metrics, run scripts that change vpn locations on random intervals, that search topics based on popular trends, determine the length stayed on each page at random. Hide in a sea of bots, clones of clones of yourself. If everything is collected, it would be easier to hide amongst all the noise than to try and stay outside of it.

In this ram economy, use DBAN after each use, it writes junk to the local drive and fills the ram in the process. Saved you thousands in 2026

If you're savvy enough to remove mics, cameras, and speakers, you can easily put your own switches inline with them.

The amount of effort required not to be tracked online is ludicrous. We are now worth less than the data about us. Great work putting all this information together, really informative video.

"The only winning move is not to play." Just shut it off. Get rid of it. Inconvenience yourself. And have privacy.

In cyber security this is called zero-trust. Know that you can't trust anything this applies beyond hardware if you want to.

Privacy and protection, we can't have both. Risk versus safety. Do not give up. A noble cause I say.

Even on passive devices, a hardware switch does not automatically guarantee isolation.
If the circuit is poorly designed or insufficiently shielded, signals can still couple across the open switch through capacitive or inductive interference.
A common example is an inline headset microphone mute switch, where speech can still be faintly heard when connected to a high-gain amplifier
