The bit about Muhammad Ali is amazing. The best parts of Muhammad Ali's life were after his boxing career, when he truly understood being a good Muslim, or as he put it "preparing himself to meet God". May Allah forgive his sins, have mercy on him, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

I have had clinical major depression since I was like 14, and I’m a new convert. This has been helpful. It is still very difficult to do daily tasks because of my depression, including salah, but I do try as often as I can.

Where I live there are very few Muslims. 95% of the people who live here lead secular lives. They smoke, drink, party and so forth. Most relationships are "hook up, shack up, break up. This is the normal here. Even before being blessed with Islam, I was called differently. So I keep to myself. I have three children, 16, 20, 23. My two oldest sons have autism. I try to keep them from the norm of were we live. I am a single mom. I have my mom and three kids, but I am the only Muslim in my family and area. Becoming Muslim is still a shock to me . Who knew this is where Allah would lead me when I prayed to know him - surprise. I am very happy to becoming Muslim Alhumdulillah I am so blessed. But it's very lonely. Can you do a talk on how to manage isolation and loneliness. I think there must be many others too facing such feelings and reality.
