  4 really did horror right when it came to the genre. The whole game is just uncomfortable. It&apos;s like a bad dream where everything seems normal, but something is off. You feel forced through the game, as if against your will.

  What I appreciate the most of SH4 is giving us insight in who was pretty much a loose end related to the cult, with Walter being a contingency plan for Dahlia. That and being a SH with plenty of characters instead just like 5 people.

  Silent Hill 4 is personally my favorite game in the series. I&apos;ve always liked the fact that the most viscerally terrifying Silent Hill game is the one that has the most unambiguously happy ending (if you do everything right, anyway).

  Will always be my favourite Silent Hill game despite the flaws and I still think it has the scariest game intro to this day.

  SH: The Room is one of my favorite scary games. <br>After you rescue Eileen, you are never truly safe in your apartment.<br>The best haunting is &quot;ghost Henry&quot; at the bleeding peephole where you see Henry with his eyes gouged out.

  I will die defending this game.. It&apos;s the most liminal of the bunch, so much stuff feeling familiar but just slightly off. Its the one I catch myself thinking about, because it makes me feel the horrors closer than any other
