its really interesting to hear adler talking... i remember reading his books about philosophy, and that guided me in what i was reading about. and always wanted to own and operate his great books of the western world collection, like the one at the library back in those days. finally hearing his voice is a gift

This is from the Encyclopaedia Britannica “Great Books / How to Read a Book” discussion series. They were produced and shown on television in 1975, but in practice, they were distributed directly to schools and libraries.
