In NYC 80s I also knew a young accountant who told me that "If Reagan's tax 'reforms' pass, in 40 years you won't recognize the country." He was right. I no longer do.

As a Brit I have always loathed Reagan and his double act with Thatcher. When I started watching CNN I kept hearing about Reagan Republicans and how decent they are / were. That came as a surprise to me. Thank you for showing me that I am not going senile and that the St. Reagan really didn't exist.
