  I once worked at a games studio that was working on a family-friendly open world game for the Wii. It was fun and it WORKED (at least on the dev kits). The project was ahead of schedule and under budget. The studio eventually was acquired by EA and the project was shelved as it didn’t fit in to their direction / portfolio.

  Actually, the part about the Wii Startup Disc is partially inaccurate. The NAND dump of the console was acquired in 2010 by Bushing. However, the startup disc needed to make it work was still lost until 2020. An image file of the startup disc was found in one of the Nintendo gigaleaks (September 2, 2020 leak). The header did need to be fixed, but the startup disc was finally found.

  The wii food channel <b>may</b> have domino&apos;s delivery TODAY depending on where you live, even outside Japan. There is a youtuber (Dammit Jeff) who uploaded a video of himself about a year ago going through to process of hacking his wii, installing the channel, ordering and receiving the pizza in America. It ended up costing an insane amount like $40 for a single large pizza.

  The vitality sensor was supposed to be paired with horror games. The idea being when a game got your heart rate up with scares, it would do more of that or increase intensity.
