1:16:05 Watching a young man being confused by the concept of calling in a request to the radio makes me feel Unc as hell

The skit before "protect ya neck" is someone calling into a radio station and requesting a song. It's something that probably wouldn't make sense to anyone under 30.

"Can it be all so simple" is about reminiscing on your youth, both good and bad. The singing sample is Gladys Knight "The way we were", in which she starts the song by talking about how when we look back, our youth had a magic and simplicity to it, but today you think about how hard things are as an adult. But, these hard times will be thought of as good ol days to the youth when they grow up. So life is really more about your perception of the same situation others are having. The pressures of a lifetime of struggling, forces you to deal with the responsibilities and complications of life that youths usually don't have to deal with it because they don't have the same perception of the hard times the same as adults.
It's a brilliant way to express the complications of growing up in tough circumstances and trying to live and raise a family in those same situations.
