This series and DS in particular completely rewrote my relationship with video games. True masterpiece.

Miyazaki is so deliberate, so thoughtful, and so humble. A true craftsman.

If the fear was that “ring” would mean “anus” when naming dark souls, then that confirms Miyazaki intentionally went with the name “Elden Anus” years later

that journalist who wrote for the guardian absolutely hit the nail on the head. Never agreed more with someone's summarisation of a game

Miyazaki's quotes are awe-inspiring. A true visionary. He always cares about the right things regarding games

I was listening intently and then bursted out laughing at the “dark race” and “dark ring” line LOL

Seems clear as day to me after watching this series of documentaries that what truly makes these games amazing is leadership.

Man, I am just speechless. I don’t even know what to say. The amount of work and thought that Miyazaki has managed to put into the game and the series as a whole is so beautiful to me. I am actually tearing up at the fact that I could play such a masterful work of art that is the souls series. Thank you for giving me insight on the behind the scenes.

I love that they couldn’t go with the name “Dark Ring” because it was reminiscent of butthole lmfao
