At 39:00 We hear about apoptosis being inhibited. That, and serious damage to the mitochondria sounds to me like a recipe for cancer if we take Dr Seyfried's hypothesis that cancer actually begins with damaged mitochondria seriously.

After not consuming high PUFA oils and changing almost nothing else, I find that my ability to process carbohydrates without weird satiety and energy effects is greatly improved.

It is also really really hard to overconsume fruits like grapes and apples, for me. If I eat an apple now I feel done with fruit for about four hours.

I enjoy fruit a lot, and I find it helpful when programming; I also like consuming it before going on a long walk which should be 3-4x or more the caloric load as the fruit, I find this keeps my mind working the whole time.

This was one of the best yet in the series on Seed Oils. Excellent.

I love Tucker's info but we should crowdfund a decent mic for him. Almost every interview I've seen with him as an annoying sound issue.

After going low-carb, Paleo, then Keto (from 2011 to May 2021) and still having lingering metabolic issues over those years, THIS!!!!!!!!…”seed oil toxicity” was the final piece of the puzzle for me to fix my deathly metabolic ills. I was consistently still taking in large amount of LA during extensive travels on cruise ships and restaurants 3/4th of each year; nutrient dense low-carb selections from menus were prepared with seed oils😣🤨. A MILLION THANKS for this!!!

Very interesting, however unfortunate the constant sound of a tea kettle in the background. Likely not a tea kettle, but that’s exactly what it sounded like. 🧐

I’m absolutely living your deep dive into PUFAs. And the study on non alcoholic fatty liver is so interesting! Thanks you!
