  I remember when TLC followed what their acronym is and only aired educational programmes. They were the first to fall to the "reality show" plague that infected and killed ALL educational channels like Discovery, History, NatGeo(yes, even national geographic is no longer airing educational shows as their main content)

  Ruby Franke, her original channel was Eight Passengers. But the shit about her came out after she split with her husband and joined up with Jodi Hildebrandt to create a parenting style sort of shit that was outright abusive. She’s in prison now, but I haven’t heard the ultimate fate of the children. Their eldest daughter is college age and she had tried to get police intervention in the past.<br><br><br>I followed it decently on here when it was happening. It was a pretty sick situation all around.
