My gameplay, reactions, theories, decisions, boss attempts, and general understanding of the world were all recorded during my first playthrough. If I say something hilariously wrong at some point, that’s because I genuinely believed it at the time. 😂<br><br>Then how do the “Who Was?” sections know so much about the lore?<br><br>Those sections are retrospective. After finishing the game, I did additional research so I could better understand the characters and events I experienced. The playthrough itself was blind; the “Who Was?” sections were researched afterward.<br><br>I’m not pretending I somehow understood every piece of Bloodborne lore in real time. Those sections are there so I can look back on the character with more context after the journey is over.<br><br>Did anyone help you?<br><br>Occasionally I received some spoiler-light guidance, usually involving Bloodborne’s incredibly easy-to-miss NPC questlines or pointing me back toward something I had already encountered. Nobody explained the story, bosses, major reveals, endings, or anything like that to me beforehand.<br><br>Why did you make THAT decision with an NPC?<br><br>Because I was blind, bruh. 😭 Bloodborne’s questlines are held together by moonlight and Miyazaki’s hatred for happiness. I know much more about the different outcomes now.<br><br>Are your psychological interpretations supposed to be canon?<br><br>Nope. When I discuss trauma, identity, grief, purpose, relationships, institutions, etc., I’m interpreting these characters and themes through my perspective as a therapist. That’s analysis, not me claiming FromSoftware explicitly intended every interpretation I make.<br><br>What is your current Souls ranking?<br><br>1. Bloodborne<br>2. Dark Souls 2<br>3.   The doll is now the great one&apos;s mother. She will love it unconditionally. Both created. Both fulfilled. It is a kind of inverted creation story.

  I&apos;m sure many people have already said this, but the iosefka you meet at the beginning is a real doctor. She doesn&apos;t let hunters (or anyone besides the weak on such a long night of beasts) in because they&apos;re highly prone to madness due to the horrors they see. However, if you pay attention you can tell her voice changes. This is an impostor from the healing church obsessed with the great ones who killed Iosefka and turned her patients (and anyone else you&apos;ve sent there) into celestial imps. Another tragedy in this tragedy fest of a game we all love 😂

  Actually you unlocked the doll not because you beat the cleric beast but Actually because you simply SAW it, had you died to the beast and returned to the dream the doll would still be awake because SEEING the cleric beast netted you a single point of insight and thus your EYES began to open. &nbsp; Insight was a very clever addition to this game used as both currency and a progressor of the main story. &nbsp;Now you may also be wondering why am I capitalizing certain words. &nbsp;Well once again id like to turn your attention to my comment on your poll inquiring if this was one of the games you should play next. &nbsp;&quot;Fear the old blood, Your EYES are yet open&quot; &nbsp;this is a slight adjustment to an actual quote from the game &quot;Fear the old blood, our eyes are yet to open&quot;
