This was, by far, the toughest one to listen to. The brothers weren't jerks or know-it-alls, just 2 guys who followed the rules, ran into very bad luck and stayed together to the bitter end. God's speed, boys and may He grant them eternal life and let perpetual light shine upon them.🙏🙏

Getting badly injured in the middle of nowhere, hours away from civilization is a nightmare. Cannot imagine it happening in literally one of the most remote and deadly parts of the entire world...

Imagine the thinking of the climber who had just used that anchor and the climber was set to next use that anchor. Those climbers survived due solely dumb luck.

It’s crazy how far from anything K2 is. Fly into Skardu, jeep through steep valleys, hiking across sand dunes and glaciers for days at high altitude. Dysentery runs rampant, horse corpses dot the valley floors, human bones and small memorials surround the base of the King of Mountains… The most harrowing place to visit let alone summit, and I only did a 6300 meter peak.

Lmao, K2 is more dangerous then Everest....<br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do_f5bxsAVc&t=25">0:25</a> also sounds like something I would do, not think about high altitude sickness e.t.c<br>I must stay away from these types of ventures.
