  The U.S. used to be against having too many huge companies and merges for this reason.  Now our government allows it because they are getting paid off by these exact companies.

  I quit Lowe’s many years ago. Worked my butt off. Needed some normalcy after the military. Got a message that some of brothers gave the ultimate sacrifice 2 weeks before Veteran’s day. HR denied my request despite knowing why I wanted off. Walked out on the spot. They don’t give a shyt about anyone!

  I worked at Lowe's for 9 months , I got Osha certified in all three lifts and due to the fact most of my co workers were on the older side , I felt obligated to help out in their department because they wouldn't or couldn't get the certification to use the lift to get product down for customers . My "teammates "  couldn't lift the waterheaters , fridges, tool boxes...anyhow I end up getting in trouble for not being in my department.  I was an all-star there because I could actually help customers in every department and walk a client from A to Z on how to , and what they need to finish their home improvement project , step by step. Tips and tricks. The customers loved me aside from one guest whom came in drunk and I warned her about driving in her condition and she went to complain about me . And my management punished me and sent me home , And I never went back. I get a call on my next shift while sleeping in from my manager "Where you at"? I'm right where I wannabe.  Goodbye and Goodnight , Lowe's I had high hopes until I actually worked there , Im surprised anything gets done there.

  Lowe’s pulled the same nonsense with me when I ordered a washer and dryer on sale supposed to be free delivery I declined all the hoses and cords, etc. they still charge me. And to add insult to injury. The delivery guy scratched my walls (5 inches long all the way through the drywall 1/4 inch deep) and scratched the appliances.  plus The dryer broke after six loads ( not even 14 days owning them) and they refused to make good on it told me I had to deal with whirlpool to replace the part and I had to go after the subcontractor for the damage to my home. Waited 6 months for the part and the new part broke again a few loads later. All these companies are horrible now.

  Always check any items in a box..<br>One guy brought a toilet …it was return months ago…he went home it had a old toilet..<br>He went back to Lowe’s ..they refused to give a refund!<br>If you have a problem?<br>CALL CORPORATE….if you can get though…? <br>Corporate gets a call from a customer…each score manger gets a black mark on record as a fail manager who not help a customer!<br>Note ..All store managers can give any refunds even. Replace any old / use merchandise..<br>I know ..I am a former Lowes employee 9 years..<br>Our manger told me this!

  As a contractor, I constantly have problems with employees and/or managers from Lowes! They have proven time and time again that they don’t care if you spend $100 or 50k a year, they still give you shitty service!!!

  Home Depot and Lowe’s are insane with their prices. &nbsp;If they would lower their prices, then more people would do DIY projects around their house and actually enjoy the process and keep doing more projects. &nbsp;Instead, the prices of each little item in a project is soo expensive that it’s not worth doing some projects anymore.

  I work for a company like this but in another country, I just want to remind everyone to please not take out your frustrations on the floor team, we have absolutely no control over the shit show, we know it&apos;s bad, we know it better than you do, but there&apos;s nothing we can do about it. I get abused on a daily basis by customers who can&apos;t find any staff to help them or wrong prices, or not being able to find items it says we have in stock, it&apos;s because everytime someone leaves they don&apos;t get replaced anymore, they simply expect everyone else to cover their workload, and they&apos;ve stretched us to the absolute limit. And we know why, our managers get bigger bonuses if they save more money on the store budget. So please, when you have a problem, ask to speak to a manager, they deserve every ounce of abuse they get.

  I hate Lowes! &nbsp;My local Lowes store&apos;s manager Refuses to accept my DD214 as proof of military service! &nbsp;His excuse is that it doesn&apos;t have a photo on the document and they claim that a contractor gave his DD214 to one of the people working for him to use for discounts. <br><br>Home Depot on the otherhand, is more than happy to accept my DD214 as proof. &nbsp; I go there instead of Lowes.
